The Aston Martin Valkyrie is one of the company’s most ambitious projects. With a price tag of over $3 million, a hybrid V12 engine that produces 1,160 horsepower, and enough downforce to tackle the world’s toughest race tracks, it’s the very definition of a “hypercar.” Since most people can’t afford to buy the real thing, Aston Martin and LEGO have teamed up once again to create the Valkyrie Technic kit.

Comprising 707 pieces, the Technic kit is relatively small, but it packs a lot of detail, including the Valkyrie’s unique underbody aerodynamic package, which in the real world produces 2,425 pounds of downforce. The kit also features a midship-mounted V12 engine with functional pistons and a real rear differential that allows the left and right rear tires to spin at different speeds. The Valkyrie’s gullwing doors are clearly visible, and top-mounted levers allow you to manipulate the steering to help you dig deep into corners when racing down the hallway.

LEGO has also teamed up with Gameloft to include the Technic Valkyrie in Asphalt Legends UNITE. Each Technic kit unlocks the car and the real-life Aston Martin Valkyrie in-game, allowing potential owners to get behind the wheel of the car, whether in the virtual world or on the real world. Asphalt Legends UNITE also includes other Technic tie-ins, including the Corvette Stingray, making it a new, more realistic goal to own your dream garage in both LEGO and digital form.

The full-size Aston Martin Valkyrie boasts near-F1-level performance. Thanks to 1,160 horsepower, it can hit 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, while its top speed of 220 mph means you won’t have to fear any straightaways. While this LEGO Technic example is cool, it’s not quite as fun as the gas-powered real thing.

But adding this miniature’s Podium Green paint job and Technic style to your collection won’t cost you $3 million. In fact, the $59.99 price tag is about two-hundredths of the actual cost of the car, and it’s a really good deal considering the fun you’ll get from building it. Add in the video game add-ons, and the value factor increases even more.
