In 2021, Aston Martin introduced its first SUV, the DBX, with a 542-horsepower twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 engine. With the arrival of the DBX 707 in 2023, the engine was increased to 697 horsepower. By 2025, the DBX 707 had become the only model in the range. However, Aston Martin is making a comeback in 2026 with the introduction of the DBX S. This new high-performance variant offers more power and a lighter design.
Powerful engine and lightning-fast speed
The heart of the DBX S is the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine, but with technical refinements inspired by Aston Martin's Valhalla supercar. The turbochargers, which include larger compressor wheels and internal improvements, produce 717 horsepower.
The company claims that 0-62 mph can be achieved in 3.3 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the DBX 707. 124 mph is reached in just 10.9 seconds. The DBX S, which maintains a top speed of 193 mph, is further enhanced by a reworked exhaust system that enhances the V-8’s powerful sound.

Advanced Driving Experience and Lightweight Options
The DBX S continues to feature all-wheel drive, capable of sending up to 50 percent of torque to the front wheels and up to 100 percent to the rear wheels. The nine-speed automatic transmission offers more aggressive downshifts and responsive upshifts across an extended rev range in Sport and Sport+ modes.
To help save weight, an optional carbon-fiber roof saves 39.7 pounds, making it Aston Martin’s largest carbon-fiber component. 23-inch magnesium wheels reduce unsprung weight by 41.9 pounds and improve ride and steering precision. A lightweight polycarbonate grille is also available.
Improved handling and attractive appearance
The DBX S’s steering is 4% quicker, and the turning radius is 1.6 feet smaller, enhancing agility in city driving. It is underpinned by the retuned air suspension of the DBX 707. Externally, the new black-painted grille, front splitter, redesigned side sills and “S” badge are notable.
At the rear, vertically stacked quad exhausts and a new diffuser can be found. Carbon-fiber components save an additional 15.4 pounds. Accents are available in colors such as Rosso Corsa Red, Trophy Silver and Podium Green.

Luxurious interior and order details
The DBX S’s cabin includes seats with a herringbone design and Alcantara material, with a semi-aniline leather option. Red seat belts and an embroidered “S” logo add to the sporty feel. A 14-speaker audio system is standard, with a 23-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system optional.
Pricing for the DBX S hasn’t been announced, but it’s expected to be closer to $300,000, up from the DBX 707’s $256,086. Orders are being accepted now, with deliveries set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.
