Today, Harley-Davidson's bikes no longer look the same as they did eighty years ago. This is a drawback, as bikes like the 'Springer' still entice many bike lovers today. Some people like the old style so much that they go to 'custom shops' to make their already old-looking bikes more 'vintage'.
One such 2006 'Springer' has been transformed into a bike named 'Bobber Cream'. It's a new identity that reinvigorates the old look.
This bike is the work of the Spanish garage Lord Drake. It was made for a particular customer, who likes' classic motorcycles' and 'retro styles' a lot. Many of the original parts of the bike were kept the same. But a lot of changed and new 'custom parts' were also added to it.
The special 'Springer Suspension System' of the bike was kept in place, but it was slightly lowered. There's now a 19-inch wheel on the front, which was originally a 16-inch.

In the upper part of the bike, Lord Drake installed a 'Sportster peanut fuel tank' and a new 'drag bar'. New 'fenders' have been installed on top of both wheels, behind which new 'chrome brake discs' have been installed. There is also a new seat that is made of the same kind of leather that is used in 'Porsches'.
The location of the 'headlight' has also been changed. No major changes have been made to the engine of the Springer. Small improvements, such as a new 'air filter', 'exhaust system' and different 'covers', have improved engine performance.
It's the little things that make 'Springer' more 'retro' than ever. This may seem a little strange because some things, like 'LED lights', are quite modern. But what makes it look the oldest is its' paint job '. In this, 'gloss black' has been combined with 'gold pearl'.
It also has letters in 'gold pinstriping' and 'gold tones'. Lord Drake has not revealed the price of this Harley. On a typical 2006 model's' Springer 'vintage bike market sells for up to 5,000.
Like other 'custom bike makers', this Spanish team usually makes only one particular bike. But 'Bobber Cream' has been so successful that there are plans to make a total of five such bikes. All these bikes will be built on the same basic design.
But customers will be allowed to choose some small things according to their choice. This will give them a chance to make their 'Bobber Cream' more special.
