The off-road vehicle named Suzuki Jimny is now almost discontinued in Europe. Due to strict new regulations, cars that were previously only available as commercial vehicles were gradually phased out of sale in Germany and the EU by mid-2024. Now this cart is making a small comeback, but only in France.

Suzuki is bringing a special series of 55 cars to say goodbye to its famous off-road vehicle, called The Jimny 55th Anniversary. This is a good way to say goodbye to the existing model of Suzuki Jimny from the French market and the whole continent. The car has sold more than three million units worldwide in 55 years.

This special farewell model looks like Jimny Horizon. The Jimny Horizon was a special edition launched at the discontinuation of this SUV in Germany. The Jimny 55th Anniversary is based on the French model, Privilège V.U. It has many special features, which are different from its usual features. These include a Suzuki retro design grille. Also, it has retro design side decals. There is also a soft rhino spare tire cover on the cart, on which the famous rhino associated with Jimny from the 1980s is built.

There are many other different things in this special Jimny 55th Anniversary Edition. Rubber floor mats are installed inside the car and in the digi. It also features mudflaps with the Jimny logo in red at the back of the front and rear wheels. A logbook has also been provided, with a leather cover on it, so that you can write your good memories in this particular Suzuki 4x4.

It also comes with a matching key chain. French customers will also receive 4x4 training to improve their off-road driving. Every Jimny 55th Anniversary Edition has a special car number. In the middle of the car, there is a memorable plate at the bottom. This special edition is available in four different colours: White, Jungle Green, Bluish Black, and Medium Grey.

The special features of the 55th Anniversary Edition add more to the already large list of Jimmy Privilege. This includes air conditioning, heated seats, Bluetooth audio system, lane departure and lane change warning, automatic high beam control, and traffic sign recognition. The Suzuki Jimny weighs 1,090 kg (2,403 lbs). It is also compact in size. It is 11.4 ft long and 5.38 ft wide. The vehicle performs well in any location, be it elevated roads or crowded urban areas.

In the off-road, its agility increases even more. This is due to the special approach angles (37 degrees), departure angles (49 degrees) and landing angles (28 degrees). It also has AllGrip Pro all-wheel drive, which includes a transfer case and short shift throws. The Suzuki Jimny 55th Anniversary Edition is powered by a 102-horsepower 1.5 -liter gasoline engine.

It also has a 5-speed manual transmission. The cart is priced at €28,955 ($33,221). Orders for this particular series were taken for a fixed period of time from Monday, June 2 to Tuesday, June 10. So, if you're not on the list of those ordering, it's too late now. Customers will receive the vehicles at the end of June.
