When BMW launched the new M5, it caused a stir in the automotive world. All the attention went to its weight. About 5400 pounds! Yes, this weight is as much as a heavy SUV like the Chevrolet Tahoe. BMW itself put this fact forward and since then people are debating. With so much weight, will this car really show the magic for which the M5 is known?
When I got the opportunity to test this car for our YouTube video, I thought let's understand it in depth. Nowadays many cars give great handling despite being heavy. Especially BMW cars have always been at the top in this matter. Perhaps this weight of the M5 also has some hidden magic. I decided to test it from a scientific point of view.
This M5 is probably like the R35 Nissan GT-R. A machine that people misunderstand at first but its technology surprises you. Its twin-turbo V-8 hybrid engine is completely different from the old naturally aspirated V-8 or V-10 M5. This is a new approach. A combination of power and environment. But will it retain the soul of the old M5? This question kept coming to my mind again and again.

Looking at the G90 M5, BMW has put in all its effort into it. Its design and engineering show the old style of BMW which I call BMW-itis. From the outside, its look might look scary to some and reading the specs might raise questions in your mind. But actually its engineering makes it fun to drive.
Despite the initial doubts about its weight, there is something special about this car. Its hybrid system, advanced suspension and precise steering make it agile despite being heavy. BMW has always made the impossible possible with the help of technology. This car is an example of that. A unique combination of weight and performance.
The question is, will this new M5 be able to give the thrill that this series is known for? For this you have to watch my YouTube video in which I tested this car from every angle. I tried to understand whether this huge sedan really does justice to its name.

This car is for those who love a blend of old and new. It is not just a super-sedan. It shows where the automotive world is headed now. Its hybrid engine and hefty weight raise questions initially but all doubts are dispelled once you drive it. It is a technological marvel that doubles the driving fun.
Does the new M5 carry forward BMW's legacy? I think yes. This car breaks expectations and sets new benchmarks. But it cannot be understood just by reading or hearing about it. It has to be driven.
