The new Volvo XC70 overtook its wagon roots and now it has become a completely SUV. Earlier this vehicle was famous for its big wagon design which was perfect for families and long runs. Now Volvo converted the XC70 into a tall SUV which is specially created for China.

Perhaps they also came to countries like US later. This change shows that Volvo is now going towards the new choice of people i.e. SUVs. This news can be exciting for American people who want style and space.

The new XC70 is now not a wagon but a strong plug-in hybrid SUV. It has a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that gives 161 horsepower and is limited to 112 mph. The car has two battery options. A 39.63-KWH Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) battery weighs 5015 pounds.

The second 21.22-kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery weighs 4652 pounds. This hybrid technology shows Volvo's thinking towards the environment. This vehicle can be special for people who want green options in America.

But this new form of XC70 may disappoint some American fans. People who want wagons will remember their old and flexible place. Now by becoming a SUV, it will compete with trains like Tesla Model Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E. There is no confirmed news of its arrival in the US. Still, if it reaches America, those stylish and good SUV seekers will definitely like it.
