Professor Gordon Murray has confirmed that two new vehicles will appear in the 2025 Monterey Car Week. These vehicles will be shown especially on August 15 in The Quail a Motorsports Gathering. One important thing is that these vehicles will not be built under the Gordon Murray Automotive (GMA) brand. Instead, they will be the first model of a new department Gordon Murray Special Vehicles (GMSV) which has been started this year. This announcement has been made by Gordon Murray Group which owns GMA and was founded by Gordon Murray.

These new models coming from GMSV are different from GMA badge cars, although all these are ideas of Gordon Murray and part of the Gordon Murray Group. Gordon recently told Carbuzz that GMSV vehicles are cars that he has always wanted to make or for whom the customers requested a lot. He also clarified that these cars do not necessarily fit in the seven main principles of GMA. The seven principles of GMA include Driving Perfection, Lightweight, Engineering Art, Premium Brand, A Return to Beauty, Exclusive, and The Customer Journey. Gordon said that he does not want to "dirty water" with GMA products because every GMA product will focus only on those seven principles.

This does not mean that all seven principles will be sidelined to create these new vehicles. GMSV instead will create modern fantasies of a limited number of cars and perhaps some of the most reputed designs of Gordon. For example, Gordon said that T.50 is already closest to McLaren F1 but they would not refuse to rebuild their other icons like Tiny Light Car Company Rocket. Gordon is asked to make more models of Rocket at least once a month, which made only 47 units and now they are very expensive. He does not want to do this because it has already become a reputable little car.

This year is also the 60th anniversary of Gordon's magnificent career which will be fully celebrated in the Goodwood Festival of Speed. There is another anniversary in 2025 when McLaren F1 GTR, designed by Gordon Murray, won 24 hours of Le Mans, it will complete 30 years. A Le Mans-inspired special version can be one of the two cars of GMSV that will be unveiled. Gordon has a deep attachment to Le Mans and Endurance Racing and told Carbuzz that it is one of his favorite racing. He will go back to celebrate the 30th anniversary of F1 GTR's victory. Perhaps with T.50S.

The Gordon Murray Group also confirmed that the T.33 family members T.33S would be delayed with the announcement of the revelations of two upcoming models. The T.33S will be a more concentrated powerful version of the beautiful T.33 sports car. It was originally to be unveiled in Goodwood but Gordon and his team have decided that there is no right time yet.

The Gordon Murray Group has decided to streamline its product launch plans. The delay of T.33S may be a bit disappointing for the enthusiasts but two absolutely new models of the professor compensate for this loss. GMA has confirmed that all 100 customers T.50 models will be completed by July at the same time when there will be 60th anniversary celebrations.
