McLaren has announced a special program called Project: Endurance. This gives customers a chance to buy a McLaren Le Mans Hypercar. McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing are presenting this program. It will not be like the common McLaren W1 or the Ultra-Rare 750s.

Rather, this hypercar 2027 FIA World Enduration will be made from the official LMDH race car participating in the Championship. McLaren won Motorsport's Triple Crown (24 hours of Le Mans Indianapolis 500 and Monaco Grand Prix) three decades ago. The company aims to repeat this historical achievement in 2027.

The car that gets the customer will be similar to the Le Mans racer. It will have a rear-wheel-drive race-belt V6 Twin-Turbo Hybrid Powertrain. It is designed with Dallara which is McLaren's chassis partner and an IndyCar manufacturer. With the owner of this hypercar, customers will get deep access behind the racing program. CEO Zak Brown of McLaren Racing said that this customer program will give buyers a great chance to own a real race car and get close to action on the track.

This customer program will be very special. The owners will be able to participate in LMDH's testing and development program. This includes spending time with engineers team employees and drivers. They will get a two-year McLaren-operated track driving experience. This experience will be on the best circuit in the world which will give them an opportunity to fully join the world of racing.

Track driving experience will include professional driver coaching. Apart from this, customers will also get Pit Crew and Race Engineers. Every event will be provided full assistance which is called "Arrive-Drive Setup". This means that the customer will have to just come and get everything ready to drive. This ensures that the owners can enjoy racing without any hassle.

McLaren has not given the price for this Project: Endures. He did not even say how limited it would be. However, it will be given to the people only "A select less". It is clear from this that it will be for those who have a lot of money. It is also likely that it will be given to existing customers first as Ferrari does with its FXX program. More information about this project is expected to be found in the coming years.
