The Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 Manufacturing Arcic Silver is a new limited edition of Mercedes-Benz SUVs, which follows the success of other high-performance models. This special edition is characterized by a name "Manufacturing", which in Benz language means "extra special".
Although it is commonly known as "Arctic Silver", its official name for the external paint is the manufactur Cirrus Silver Magno, a name that, confusedly, seems to refer to the sky while the name of the edition refers to the "Ground". Under the hood, this model maintains the 4.0 -liter V8 Biturbo engine of 603 horsepower, the same as the other AMG 63 models.
The distinctive element of the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 Manufacturing Arcic Silver is its exclusive external painting. In addition to the special shades of Manufactur Cirrus Silver the Great, the vehicle presents significant aesthetic changes. AMG Multirazza wheels with a forged, black -turned black -in -law with a flange of the red circle that adds a touch of color are included.
The brake calipers are also red to harmonize the design. The model is equipped as standard with the AMG Night Package, which replaces the chrome finishes with polished black elements around the windows, a front splitter and polished black air intakes, and housings of the shiny black mirrors. The look are completed by the drainage terminals in dark chromium and the opaque black roof bars.

The interiors of the Arctic Silver Edition Manufacture have special changes that are distinguished by the extensive use of the red color, rather than silver. The seats, the AMG Performance steering wheel and the armrests are covered in Nappa leather manufactur Carmine Red and Black, with the seats characterized by a diamond motif. There are also the AMG logos inside.
A particularly exclusive detail is the addition of a red accent to the carbon fiber finishes, one of the few characteristics that are not already available on other models. The only element that clearly identifies this as a special edition is the chromed emblem "Manufacturing Arcic Silver" positioned on the passenger side of the dashboard.

It is important to note that the available sources do not mention any "secret upgrade" or power increase to 1,000 HP for the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 Manufacturing Arctic Silver. On the contrary, it is specifically indicated that the vehicle will maintain the same 4.0 -liter V8 Biturbo engine and 603 horsepower from the other AMG 63 models, combined with a nine -speed automatic transmission.
Mercedes-AMG plans to produce only 450 specimens of this global SUV. Although the price has not been announced, it will be expected to be more than $ 178,200, considering the options included such as the artifaktur paint, the night package, the 23 -inch wheels and the red leather interiors.
