Stellantis is chanting the mantra of ‘heritage’ (history) in 2025 to get back in the American automotive game. With Tim Kuniskis back as CEO of Ram Trucks after a management change, his first move was to bring back the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine into the 1500 trucks after a year hiatus in the 1500 trucks.
It’s working. Truck sales are up and V-8 models are flying out of dealerships. To keep the momentum going, Stellantis is now rumored to be bringing back the Hemi V-8 into the new Charger models. To capitalize on this good vibes, the company is taking it up a notch.
